CapEd Credit Union is proud to be a part of the International Credit Union movement and join the international celebration.

As Idaho’s oldest Credit Union, founded in 1936, we’ve been pleased to share our experience with Credit Unions who’s journey is younger than ours. Over the last couple of years CapEd has worked with Savings Associations/Credit Unions in Moldova (eastern Europe) and in Central America. See their stories below.

Credit Unions are not for profit, member owned financial institutions are an important alternative for individuals, organizations and businesses.

Thanks to every CapEd member for being a part of the international Credit Union movement. We are an important not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution alternative for the many (global) communities we serve!

Moldovan Credit Unions are less than 20 years old and are helping farmers and young families access credit and savings accounts.
