Meet Simple Qualifications
- At least one direct deposit or automatic payment must post or clear this account each qualification cycle.
- At least twelve debit card purchases must post and settle this account each qualification cycle.
- Must enroll online and accept disclosure to receive eStatements.
CapEd membership3 is required to open a High Yield Checking account.
Only one High Yield account per main member SSN is allowed.
Members receive monthly emails indicating whether or not they qualified for rewards during the qualification cycle.
A current e-mail address must be kept on file with CapEd.
Requirements are waived during the first qualification cycle and the high yield rate is earned regardless of whether the requirements are met.
After the first qualification cycle, the non-qualifying APY1 is earned and ATM fees will not be refunded during any qualification cycle the requirements are not met. Members can start over the next month and work toward meeting the requirements to earn the higher rates.
Qualification cycles begin on the last day of the month and end on the day before the last day of the next month.
